Carly & Vic

First off, sorry to the blog fans for the hiatus. The good news is that I’m now going to be flooding the blog with incredibly awesome weddings from the last few months of 2009. I’m looking forward to 2010 and it looks like it’s going to be a great year, and I know I’ll be meeting lots of great new people and attending some fantastic weddings – ….no pressure!

I also wanted to take this opportunity to say thank you, thank you, thank, to all of those who I worked with during 2009. It was such a great year for me, getting to meet all of you and giving you some long lasting memories of your weddings! I wish all of you the very best and will be in touch!

And now to the very botanical wedding of Carly and Vic at Botanical Gardens. So many things were great about this wedding. Obviously, as a photographer, you can’t ask for much better scenery than the Botanical Gardens. I mean, there’s beauty everywhere you look in that place. And the day was perfect weather, amazing sunset (you’ll see), and of course, amazing couple. Carly & Vic were amazingly…amazing. I remember when I was doing a portrait of them (the one in front of the brick wall with a circle cutout) before the ceremony, I asked them to look at each other and Vic started tearing up. And it was just really nice, so I had to share (sorry, Vic). You guys were awesome, and I’m happy to have been a part of it all.

Aside from that, there was also lots of good music, as Vic is a drummer and there seemed to be musicians in everyone’s family or circle of friends. Oh, and I forgot to mention the hula hoops – which, by the way, should be present at every wedding, I’m convinced.

Anyway, thank you Carly & Vic – I’m so happy to have been a part of your wedding!
